The Salvation Army’s Deep and Wide Training Platform

The Salvation Army is committed to ending modern slavery and human (MSHT) trafficking around the world. Since the launch of the Canada and Bermuda territorial / national Fight for Freedom MSHT Response Strategy, we continue to see more and more ministry units and people wanting to know how to get involved while being equipped and empowered to do so. The Introduction to MSHT Certificate was developed as a first step in providing education, awareness, and training on the topic of MSHT in Canada and Bermuda. Building off of that, we continue to create specialized, stage two training for frontline workers and interested individuals that is committed to educating, equipping, and supporting ministry units and locations as they explore and step into these spaces of supporting people with lived experience.
