  1. We must understand how trauma impacts us and those we serve in order to say we offer trauma informed services.

  2. Survivors of exploitation experience complex trauma which effects them emotionally, physically cognitively and behaviorally.

  3. Trauma theory suggests that many of the behavioral symptoms that we see in individuals are a direct result of coping with adverse experiences.
