October is Women’s History Month—a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women throughout history and today. Here are four Salvationist women from the Canada and Bermuda Territory who are making an impact in their corps and communities.
Over the past year, The Salvation Army hosted a series of reconciliation circles to allow people to gather and talk about Indigenous reconciliation through the lens of what it means to be a good neighbour. Three participants share their experience.

The Salvation Navy began in 1885 after General William Booth was presented with the three-masted steam yacht Iole. From this ship, meetings were conducted, and Bibles and religious books were distributed.
