World Day of Prayer
Women supporting women at home and around the world
World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women who welcome you to join in prayer and action for peace and justice. World Day of Prayer meetings are held on the first Friday in March around the world. The Salvation Army has a rich history of both participating in and hosting these times of prayer.
The resources for World Day of Prayer 2020 has been developed by the World Day of Prayer Zimbabwe Committee. Entitled, "Rise! Take Your Mat and Walk," it focuses on John 5:2-9a, and Jesus' question: "Do you want to be made well?"
World Day of Prayer 2020 is Friday, March 6.
