We praise God that clients of our Christmas assistance program and members of our ESL classes connected with our corps over the Christmas season after being invited by members of the congregation. We are grateful to see genuine relationships being formed and developed between our church and the people of our community.
One of the major areas of challenge for us would be stewardship. There is so much potential; the fields are white for harvest, but labourers and resources are few. Pray that God will stir the hearts of our people to be totally surrendered through the giving of their time, talents and tithes to extend his kingdom in our community.
Our corps is located in one of the most highly populated multicultural communities within our city. Pray that God will open doors for us and that we will have the courage to build authentic relationships as we share the love of Jesus with our community. Our greatest desire is to see our God-given mission fulfilled, making disciples of all nations.
