Major Darlene Morgan - Spiritual Formation Coordinator
Darlene is a Salvation Army Officer appointed to CFOT as Spiritual Formation Coordinator in 2018, following three years in CFOT’s Personnel Department. Prior to that, she served as Regional Officer in Hungary, sharing leadership responsibility for the work of The Salvation Army in that country. Darlene enjoyed serving a total of 14 years in Hungary, including early pioneering and corps ministries. She feels blessed to have also served seven years in Canada in leadership at The Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light in pastoral and counselling positions.
Before entering full-time ministry with The Salvation Army, Darlene worked as a Dental Hygienist. Darlene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Booth University College, and is working toward a Master of Arts in Global Studies (Missiology) with Providence Seminary. Darlene and her husband Andrew, who is also a Salvation Army Officer, have two children: Nathan, who is married to Robyn, and Paul, all living in the Winnipeg area. When not engaged in ministry Darlene can be found doing anything in the great outdoors, or baking treats in her kitchen.
