IT Business Operations facilitates continuous improvement in the delivery of IT services across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives. It is responsible for establishing, managing, and enhancing the relationship between IT and major stakeholders throughout the territory. IT Business Operations provides oversight and governance for all IT engagements including strategic planning, project prioritization, alignment with customer business priorities, and oversees the operational performance of the IT department.
Key accountabilities include:
- Delivery of IT strategic and operational services through prioritizing of IT initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of the IT Strategic plan and annual planning and budgeting process in support of the territory's business initiatives and IT service delivery
- Ensure the consistent development and implementation of efficiencies across the IT organization in support of continual service improvement
- Oversight and governance for strategic initiatives, ensuring risks are appropriately identified and mitigated
