International Development
    Canada and Bermuda Territory

The International Development Department of The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda is dedicated to fostering sustainable change and empowering communities worldwide. With a presence in 134 countries and over 60 years of experience, we collaborate with developing nations to address essential needs, including access to clean water, healthcare, education, sustainable agriculture and support for children and families.

For more than 60 years, we’ve embraced William Booth’s philosophy of providing soup, soap, and salvation. By addressing both physical and spiritual needs, we strive to share God’s enduring hope while honoring the inherent dignity of everyone we serve. Our work goes beyond addressing immediate challenges; we aim to break the cycle of poverty and bring dignity and hope to individuals and communities. From responding to global emergencies to supporting long-term development programs, we are committed to creating lasting positive change around the world.
