The Salvation Army’s magazines and web presence won 24 awards at the Canadian Church Press Convention this year, held in Hamilton, Ont., from May 2-4. Salvationist took home 11 awards, including two first-place prizes; Faith & Friends received eight awards, Foi & Vie was recognized with two and Salvationist.ca with three honours.

The Canadian Church Press includes representatives from more than 60 member publications, including mainline, Catholic and evangelical churches. The awards were judged by accomplished journalists and academics from both the religious and secular media.
