Welcome to our second season, this new set of episodes will offer insights into how The Salvation Army is adapting as we reopen during the pandemic. In the coming weeks we have corps officers, youth secretaries, our territorial music secretary, our integrated mission secretary and our chief risk officer all talking about how they have pivoted and continued to serve out The Salvation Army mission during the pandemic.

Our first episode is an interview with Commissioners Floyd and Tracey Tidd. We talk about 'Mobilize 2.0, Inspired for Mission–Positioned for Growth' and the upcoming 'Together in Mission: A territorial journey of discipleship and following Jesus in mission'.

Thanks for the podcast above and the "together in mission" journey which I find edifying and a real stirring of the "gift" within for each of us who allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in our lives and ministries. Praying God will empower us to, as Amy Reardon said "smell like Jesus"! Praise our amazing God and God bless you

What is the future of the Salvation Army? Lets dial down the "soup and soap" and focus more on "Salvation". If we don't the current demographic reality will lead to the Army's further inexorable decline as an evangelical denomination. Corps work will become moribund, if not simply disappear. The Army needs converts, committed and knowledgeable Christian soldiers and dedicated officers. Not more Santa shuffles and school backpack programs.
